United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates consists of seven independent city-states: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm al-Qaiwain, Fujairah, Ajman, and Ra’s al-Khaimah. Four-fifths of the UAE is desert but has contrasting landscapes—from the towering red dunes of the Liwa to the rich palm-filled oases of Al Ain, from the precipitous Hajar Mountains, to the more fertile stretches of its coastal plains. Though small in size (similar to the State of Maine), the UAE has become an important player in regional and international affairs. In 1971, the late President, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan unified the small, underdeveloped states into a federation—the only one in the Arab world. With his visionary leadership, oil wealth was used to develop the UAE into one of the world’s most open and successful economies.
In 2004, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became president and has since continued to strive towards an ambitious vision for the country. In just over three decades, the nation has transformed from a tribal culture reliant on agriculture and fishing, to an entrepreneurial success story with world-class infrastructure. The leadership has improved education (effectively eliminating illiteracy), advanced health care, and embraced change as the UAE modernizes, consistent with its history and cultural values.
The UAE is also strengthening institutions of government to ensure a transparent legal system with full regard for the quality of life of all citizens and residents. Four members of the Federal Cabinet are women. The UAE is a member of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Today the UAE is a strong, vibrant, and modern nation that is open to the world.
Maldives

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Dubai
Upon arrival in Dubai proceed through immigration and custom formalities and be met by our local representative whom will transfer you to your hotel for check in and overnight.
Remainder of evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Dubai
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a private half day city tour of Dubai along with a visit to the Burj Khalifa where you will view Dubai from the 124th floor.
Return to the hotel and relax at leisure until its time for your pick up this evening to transfer to the Dubai Creek Dinner Cruise—A lavish buffet dinner and refreshments will be served along with the wonderful atmosphere of Dubai by night. Enjoy an unforgettable evening cruising along the Dubai Creek on board a traditionally decorated Dhow. The Dhow is part of the Arab heritage and it is a traditional sailing vessel with one or two masts.
Overnight at hotel
Day 3: Dubai (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by check out and some time at leisure followed by transfer to a luxury desert hotel experience. The hotel is a mere 1-hour’s drive into the dessert where one can indulge in a nature walk, falconry, archery, fat-tire biking.

Day 4: Dubai and the Maldives (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by check out and then onward to your flight to the Maldives.
Upon arrival in Maldives, proceed through immigration and custom formalities. Transfer by to your resort.

Day 5: Maldives (B/L/D)
Enjoy breakfast followed by day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of the Maldives—soak up some rays from your villa, on the beach, get a spa treatment, or jump in the water to snorkel with the marine life!

Enjoy at leisure in the Maldives.
